PREPARE FOR THE EVENT

 

Race Bib & Fundraising Prize Pickup

All registered Dashers will receive a race bib. If you are picking up your bib on-site at the issue, please arrive at the registration tent at least an hour before your wave start fourth dimension on May 14. Avoid the line by getting your bib and Doggie Nuance t-shirt at 1 of our accelerate pickup events:

Parking

Public Transit

Walk/Run

There are two walk/run courses from which to cull on May 14, with waves running every 20 minutes between nine a.m. and apex. The i.five mile route is shown beneath in red. In addition to the walk/run, all registered Dashers* can take advantage of many free activities at the pet festival, including:

  • Complimentary breakfast and beverage tastings
  • Vendor booths with peachy pet products
  • Fun contests with your pooch

*Be sure to have your race bib with you to show you're registered!

EVENT RULES FOR DOGS

For the health and safety of all dogs and people participating in Doggie Dash, please observe the following rules for canines attending the effect with you lot:

  • Participating dogs must be currently licensed with proof of Parvo and Rabies vaccinations. You lot do not need to bring proof with y'all; if an incident occurs, yous must exist able to produce proof in a reasonable corporeality of time.
  • For safety reasons, "extend-a-leashes" will NOT exist allowed. Dogs must be kept on a regular leash at all times. Leashes should be no more than 6 anxiety in length while on the form. This event gets very crowded and longer leashes can be extremely hazardous.
  • Female dogs in heat are not permitted.
  • Race officials reserve the correct to refuse entry to any dog whose behavior could be unsafe to others. Please employ good judgment regarding the temperament of your pet so that this event will be safe and enjoyable for everyone.
  • Dogs younger than half dozen months should not participate.
  • Exist sure you lot and your dog are conditioned for this consequence, especially if y'all program to run/walk.

EVENT RULES FOR HUMANS

Oregon Humane Society's beginning priority is the safety and health of our attendees, sponsors, vendors, volunteers and staff. We are closely monitoring guidance from the CDC and the Oregon Health Section to ensure that Doggie Nuance will be a fun and entertaining feel that is safe for everyone.

As such, all attendees will be required to bide by our COVID-19 protocol, which will evolve as we get closer to the result and may include any or all of the following measures: liability waivers, confront coverings, social distancing, non-invasive temperature checks, testing or proof of vaccination. Oregon Humane Society reserves the right to modify and add together requirements at its sole discretion.

We will continue to update this page with the latest COVID-xix protocol. Cooperation with published COVID-19 protocol will exist required to enter and participate in the event.
